Professional Children's Fashion Show

The picture depicts one of the models in our fashion show. For the last 12 year we have hosted a fundraiser fashion show. It also encourages self-esteem, self-confidence, self-discipline develop social skills. Thorough this event we teach children how to work together with others. We teach cooperation. The children practice all month and preform a beautiful professionally staged with runway and all. Models stay at the Center before the show and made dinner and make last minute preparations.

Halloween Party - A Skeleton Props For Halloween Party in San Antonio, TX

Halloween Alternative Party:

Our Halloween Alternative Party is called Our Disney and Heroes Party. Every year APK provides families a Halloween alternative! We offer a safe environment for children instead of trick or treating at strangers doors. Every child needs a costume and a large bag of unopened age-appropriate candy or healthy snack. The party is held on October 31 or the closest day to it that we are open. Parents are asked to volunteer to help distribute the goodies at stations throughout the Center. Party time starts at 4:30 and additional siblings members are welcome.

T.O.T. Basketball Program

The T.O.T. Basketball Program is a weekly program that enforces academic concepts along with athletic and agility skills. For children 3 to 5 years of age, T.O.T. classes engage your child mentally, physically and socially. They preform their skills twice a year.

Thanksgiving Luncheon:

Our Pilgrims and Indians Children’s Program sponsored by our pre-schoolers takes place on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving. Our staff prepares a Thanksgiving Feast for our children and their guests to enjoy. Everyone is welcome!

The “Great Book Exchange”

Every Christmas the children exchange books and give the gift of reading to one another. Importance of giving and the significance of books in our lives. Each parent is required to donate a designated amount to help buy a book for your child to exchange you. All parents are asked to participate so that everyone benefits. We believe that being read to should be an important part of every child’s early years. With this gift we introduce the children to the.

Christmas Pageant:

Our annual Christmas Pageant is held for our pre-school parents in December. Details about the program are given in November. Everyone is invited! Fundraisers are used to supplement the many underlying costs needed to provide quality childcare. With the additional funds we are able to help minimize this cost to you. All parents are asked to participate so that everyone benefits.
